For the new characters: Please note that you get two traits but one is your crime. You get two bonus skill points per level. You get a bonus feat at first level. You start play at second level so create your character at second level.

I have all points done. I even put in the equipment: Loincloth. I forgot to put his name in the character sheet, but I will get that done now.

What is the party doing for healing when injured? Evil clerics channel negative energy and thus (if we're playing core Pathfinder?) can't heal. I'm asking because I'm looking at Oracle.

They can cast Cure spells, they just don't get to do it spontaneously. They have to spend memorization slots to do it.

There's a cleric of Asmodeus in the group at the moment, but I'm sure an Oracle wouldn't come amiss, since they get around that pesky limitation. :)

I've posted Cass Anders, LE Oracle 2 of Asmodeus, in the RG.

He's pretty damned evil. I built him with the "Flame" Mystery, and intend him to eventually be a melee combatant with mad-crazy dreamlike extrasensory perception. Scott DeWar, you should definitely read Cass's background and tell me if you recognize anything. :uhoh:

For future levels, I'm interested in having Cass acquire spells, abilities, and/or magic items that allow him to enter a fugue state, increase his Perception, or add to his aura of flames.

Oh neat! A flame oracle makes a pretty good blaster too...that frees me up to focus more on being sly and controllery. Yay! :)

One background note though; I don't think Talingarde has slavery. It's a shiny bright kingdom where good 'won' ages ago...and while there's certainly corruption brewing in the shadows, they don't have outright evil institutions. Or...oh! Is this like...underground slavery? Black market type thing? That would probably be totally okay...

Or maybe I should just let Tailspinner kick in here. :)

Edit - Also! There's an oracular curse that specifically involves being horribly burned. You might prefer that to having Clouded Sight.

I hope I have not usurped your blaster role. Not my intent.

It's white slavery, totally underground.

There's an oracular curse that specifically involves being horribly burned. You might prefer that to having Clouded Sight.

Cass's blindness is integral to my character concept. He's a seer. Like Cassandra from Greek mythology (thus, the name "Cass" and "Anders" (because he's a man)). Cass has a crappy Wisdom (which admittedly negatively affects his Perception), but I get the Blindsight feat later on, and have 30' darkvision right now. I see Cass as being heavily reliant on his extra-sensory perception. He lives half in a dream and half in the here-and-now. His out-of-touch-with-reality nature--a gift of Asmodeus--makes Cass dangerous. The assault on the child is my private play on Cassandra's abuse in the Greek tragedies. I want to toy with gender stereotypes, misogyny, and the Rape of Persephone...from the assaulter's point of view. Because of the assault on the child, the clouded vision Oracle curse fits my idea of Cass maybe slightly marginally better than a curse resulting from the barracks fire, but I'm certainly willing to have a gander. I'm not seeing a "you were horribly burned" oracle's curse in the PRD. Can you point me in the right direction?

Also, lest you worry that I intend to either make a Cass a pain to play with in-game or myself become a thorn in anyone's side, let me reassure the group. I don't intend either. I'll make sure I keep Cass's misogyny latent, and I don't intend to play Cass with an eye for creating intra-party conflict. I'm a get-along-with-everyone kind of girl.

Oh no, quite the opposite! Silhouette is not intended to be a 'blaster' as a primary role. I was being completely sincere. I see her more as a magic manipulator; in 4e terms a 'controller.' I will probably have at least some basic blasts too, because it's always wise to have a backup plan, but I never wanted that to be her focus. And now it doesn't have to be. :)

As for the curse, I give you Blackened:

First one on the page. If interested, it's wise to check and see if Tailspinner allows it though, since it's from one of the Players Companion books. It's Paizo, but not one of the 'main' books.

That said, your explanation of what you're looking to do with the character is very cool! I'm always a sucker for literary allusion and exploration. :)

Edit - Reading Blackened, I realize it's actually kind of terrible for a Flame Oracle. The spells it gives you are already on your list in more than once case, and the penalty is pretty bad!
