Thanks for the kind words. It's good to know others are getting some value from it. A lot of it is just the stuff I didn't get to use in my own game - I seriously over-prepare! :) - but at least this way it's not wasted. ;)

I just wanted you to know that I'm finding it useful too as I attempt to expand beyond Lost Mine at Phandelver. Just having the various entries from past source books compiled has been of tremendous help.

A couple more Neverwinter themes converted to 5e backgrounds. These are based on the two themes that appeared in Dragon 402.

SON OF ALAGONDAR

Skill Proficiencies: Insight, Stealth
Tool Proficiencies: One type of gaming set, Disguise kit.
Equipment: A set of dark common clothes including a hood, a dagger, a pouch containing 15 gp, a disguise kit.

Feature: Size ‘em Up.
Once per round as a bonus action, choose a creature within 30 feet of you. If you succeed on a DC 15 Insight check, you know whether is AC and/or current hit points are higher than yours.

SEEKER OF ILLEFARN

Skill Proficiencies: History, Nature.
Tool Proficiencies: Herbalism kit
Languages: Sylvan
Equipment: A winter blanket, a set of traveler’s clothes, an herbalism kit, and a belt pouch containing 10 gp.

Class Prerequisite: None. Given the background’s feature, the ranger, or druid classes make the most sense.
Race Prerequisite: Eladrin, elf, or half-elf.

FEATURE: Woodland Tracker
Your knowledge of forests, their threats and features is truly phenomenal. You have gain an advantage when making tracking rolls in forested terrain.
