In answer to the question about Golarion's equator, see the Mark Moreland's response on the Paizo forums ( http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2qs05?Golarions-equator ). So yes, Golarion indeed does have an equator line. I don't recall reading anything about how the seasons operate in the two hemispheres, but I would be very surprised if they did not operate as per on earth, i.e. opposites in the north and south hemispheres.
