D&D 5E Warlock Clarification

That said, an article with new battle maneuvers--or maybe even "advanced" maneuvers, things that are more like 4E encounter or daily powers but cost more than one die, or have some other opportunity cost--would go a long way toward closing the gap.

I hope, hope, hope that any "maneuver" system for 5E does not follow an AEDU structure. AD&D fighters could do their various schticks at will (via called shots), and GURPS warriors/martial artists can use their techniques at will as well (more complicated techniques are harder and give a penalty on the skill roll), and 5E already has the first glimmerings of such a system in that Push/Grapple/Disarm are all universally available to all PCs, an unlimited number of times per day, at the opportunity cost of an attack (which makes fighters the best at these maneuvers since they have the most attacks). I'd like to see a more in-depth martial combat for 5E a la GURPS: Martial Arts, but if it's more like 4E: Martial Powers I will ignore any such system entirely.

No argument. I meant "more like" in terms of effectiveness, aesthetics, etc. I didn't mean anything even resembling the actual AEDU structure, and while AEDU works perfectly in 4E--a game I still like, just to be clear--I don't want to see anything like it in 5E. The aesthetic's all wrong.
