Planescape 5E Planescape Campaign Setting

I've been wanting to actually cackle with joy about this well prior to now, but I've been under NDA.

I've been contracted out to write a 5e Planescape campaign setting sourcebook. In addition, to reach both a broader audience and to show that 5e acknowledges and appreciates all prior editions of the game, not only will there be 5e stats, but also 4e, 3.5/Pathfinder, 1e, and Synnibarr!

I can't say much more. :D

Oh come on, Synnibarr but not F.A.T.A.L.?! Come on, there's literally several players chomping at the bit for such a book!

In all seriousness, if you kickstarted a project to get the license to do new adventures/books (even system neutral) I think it would totally succeed.

I'm always much more fond of negative April Fools jokes. Ones where you start going "oh no! no no no." and then things get absurd and you realize it's a joke and feel relieved. Because the final, lasting emotions are more positive.
That or ones where effort is put in to making things amusing, where the joke is as much a sight gag as fooling people. Like the fantastic content Google does each year, or ThinkGeek's products.

I'm least fond of the "jokes" that get your hopes up. Where you see the link, and you know it's probably B.S., but you can't help but wish it were true. So you click and let yourself believe, if only for a minute, that there's a new Planescape book coming, or PDFs, or e-tools. And then you walk away disappointed. It's melancholy.

Hahahaha, I'm sure you can't...
