When you realize that your state is a D&D landscape

I have considered using the shape of Michigan for a fantasy map.

In 4e before getting a world map of Nerath I was thinking of using Europe with the Nentir Vale set around Germany and having Nera in Rome's location.

Can you tell I've been told that before? :)

LOL. Ok, ok, I hear you. :)

I've just so often been told how bizarre it is that most Americans barely follow news in other countries, usually only speak English, and rarely leave the country by people where hopping over to the next nation is easier than driving to the next state that I feel sometimes feel the facts of geography are less well known.

We have maps and everything here! It's like a regular utopia! :D
