What magic items are now "out there" in AL?

I'm curious if anyone has made a list of the magic items that are "out there" in AL. I just got winged boots for my 1st (now 3rd) level character and that seems like an item that could mess with games in the future (flight can be very very powerful in certain situations). I've seen some "unique" items (game run by one of the authors, game from before the DMG came out and one item was wrong so it ended up with both powers at I understand) so I know there may be some weird cases. But I was curious if there is a list somewhere.

The AL Staff would prefer if such lists didn't exist. Therefore, you probably won't find one posted here by any of us who frequented the old AL forum.

As for the item that had a different description in the DMG than its first appearance, the ruling is that the two are separate versions of the same item. If you got it from the pre-DMG adventure, then you use the rules found in that book. All other instances use the DMG version.

Heh, it's messing with games already. I'm really surprised that they disallowed Aarakokra from the EE supplement because of the flight ability, yet they turned around and allowed that magic item. Admittedly, the two aren't exact comparisons, but over the course of any single Expeditions mod or the like, the functional differences seem rather negligible.

Not entirely true. Some magic items have unique quirks in addition to the items normal properties. In respect to items that were issued before the DMG was released, these items function like the DMG version except in the case of any quirks they might have.

Quirks are often mentioned on the certificate (but not always), but are always mentioned within the adventure text itself.

From the FAQ:
If a magic item I am awarded has powers that do not match what is shown in the Dungeon Master's Guide, can I use those powers or abilities, or do I have to play it exactly as shown in the Dungeon Master's Guide?

Yes, the adventures often have quirks for the items, but the full item abilities are not always shown on the certificate. Any other powers that might be indicated on the certificate are in addition to the normal description of the item. The cloak of elvenkind, from Tales Trees Tell, for example, has a permanent endure elements effect on it (and thus, the wearer).

No such list will be made available. The admins ask that such lists be removed whenever they appear. The goal is for players to play all the adventures - but failing that, they wish to remove spoilers whenever possible.

What AL adventure gave Winged Boots?

That seems incredibly powerful for 1st level. What AL adventure gave that? Is it still legal?
