Wow, What an awesome bar b que. Copacetic, man. Existential, even.

So, I ask again, Do i start with a d20 roll? For an attack of the troops?

OOC: +8 (which is your army's Offensive Modifier) is 19 which beats the enemies defensive value (basically their Armor Class) so they take damage.

The initially ranged volley comes from ambush and catches the Tiefling army unawares inflicting devastating causalities. From your vantage point on the high ground you can see the Tieflings trying to get organized. The party waits on the hillside for an opportunity to be useful. The Paladins await your orders. Should they charge now asks a Sargent who is relaying orders?

"Yes. Sound the charge. *sigh* they brought this on them selves, but we should give them quarter. Even if they don't give us quarter."

The army charges into the Tieflings to great effect and the enemy begins to fall in great numbers as they are routed. Suddenly the hill you are on erupts with flames all around.

OOC: damage: 6D6 = [2, 3, 6, 3, 3, 2] = 19
all make a DC15 Reflex save vs. Fireball for half.

[sblock=Perception DC21+]An instant before the fireball irrupted you caught a glimpse of an odd little figure among the enemy. It was only a flash before the figure was lost behind a charging Paladin's horse. Standing just over three feet tall, this bestial goat faced female humanoid wears filthy, tattered robes and has blue-gray skin decorated with strange, coiling stripes. Dark fur grows on her head and arms, and her feet end in burning hooves. Her eyes glow as red as the flaming sword it wields in one hand, and her breath fills the surrounding air with noxious gray smoke. [/sblock]
