D&D 5E Test of High Level 5E: Design 4 or 5 lvl 13 PCs for 6 to 8 encounter adventuring day

If at least two posters approve, I will start the new thread myself. Celtavian can reserve the second post to include links to characters. BoldItalic can reserve third post to include links to exposition and interaction. I will reserve first post to repost Flamestrike's first encounter. From there it's all on Flamestrike. Please indicate your approval via XP or quoting me.

From there we can follow the aforementioned debate format.

Sounds good. Can you let Bold Italic do the characters? He has a link already formatted and set up.

Ah. Thanks for pointing that out. When I'm running the game, I usually hit harder I guess depending on the creature. Some are weaker than their CR and some like Winter Wolves (creatures with Pack Tactics in general) stronger as a group.

No worries. My role here is to just make sure we're following the guidelines as written.

Why don't we kill the wolves and they are pretty squishy subdue giant's via hypnotic pattern and run? Leave. Nice big illusion of a pit to dissuade chase? I mean the wolves are pretty weak

Very good. I will wait for BoldItalic to chime in and coordinate with him over PM to get it sorted.
I'm fine with this. I can copy and paste my index of character sheets easily - whether it's the second or third post doesn't matter.

(edit) Memo to self - it's post #265

@Flamestrike - do you want to complete this first round, or discount it and let everyone theory-craft from back at the start of the encounter? I'm easy either way; if you want to carry on, I have Bedrock's move ready to paste in, but if you want to cancel the round, all I have to do is revert the hit points in his sheet.

The giants have a high movement rate and a highly effective ranged attack. The dwarf moves at 25 feet and the paladin at 30 feet. All it would take is a few hits from some rocks to take someone down. We can just kill them. Running would mean taking damage and possibly having to fight them anyway because the majority of the group can't outrun them.
