I remember reading that somewhere too. If it wasn't in Planescape it might have been one of the 3E products. Or maybe a third party D20 book. Legions of Hell maybe?

Have you tried the 2E Guide to Hell? Other than most of the WotC 3E stuff, and the 2E Planescape material, I couldn't think of where else to look. I've never heard of Zariel being a fallen archon before, so I wonder if that was actually in any of TSR/WotC's material on her.

(The website linked to above is quite colorful, but it's not canon, since quite a bit of its information is at odds with published material.)

She isn't in Legions of Hell, or Armies of the Abyss, at least that I can tell.

Her name is definitely similar to the members of the Hebdomad, so a fallen archon makes sense.

Wow - I didn't even realize how old this tread was! I was just trying to find some info on Zariel and came across this thread. Unfortunately this is still about all there is on Zariel!
