Hi there,

Some time ago, i've started building on a tool for my own dungeon master. I've posted the tool on Reddit, and it was a small succes, so here I am to share my tool.

I really like to hear your experiences and ideas for the tool so far. Any suggestions and such are welcome!

I get a debug error every time I try to expand the list by more than 10 items, and your XP values don't match the CR. For example, you've got CR1 creatures with 25, 50, 100, and 200 XP points.

That's all I've really looked at so far.

From a web dev standpoint, I like the nice, clean look. Very fast and crisp.

For actual usage, I've realized that I'm not attracted to catalog/dictionary type tools. My entry point is generally either initiative tracking (feature-rich, please), character generation/sheet, or campaign management (http://www.obsidianportal.com). Having tried to build my own of all the above, I get that it's not trivial. Also, all have a catalog requirement, under the hood. So, I'm not minimizing or knocking what you have. Just saying that I'm not the target audience for the tool.

This looks like a pretty good tool - but with a few small changes it could be excellent.

The first thing that I'd be interested in is a way to easily go to a monster's detailed sheet from the initiative tracker; it feels like just clicking on the monster's name should open it up in a lightbox-style popup.

The Campaign bit could be made more useful by including some more features in the encounter designer, including something that links an encounter to a party so you can automatically calculate the difficulty tier. A more-detailed look at the encounters could be useful when adding them to the initiative tracker, too - something that displays that difficulty, the number of creatures, and the XP value, for example. It'd also be useful if the generated treasures could be added automatically to the Treasure portion of the initiative tracker/Campaign dashboard.

Once a spell library is implemented, adding links from the monster cards to the spells they can cast would also be great, preferably opening them up in another lightbox-style popup.
