There are some things I would like back and some I would not care about.
So you're actually suggesting that a lack of diversity is a good thing? Well, I guess the whole commercialist/for the masses mindset is just alien to me. I'm still on the side that commercial success is not the be-all-end-all. Because when you're wanting to appeal to the biggest possible market, all the time, mostly you're ending up with the most boring, most bland product.
But hey, I never listened what the majority happened to listen, I didn't see the majority of big blockbusters, I didn't read Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey. I'm eating at McD only occasionally. So what do i know? Probably that's the price of being big.
I'm just happy there are companies out there who want to do other things, not just 3 kinds of burger and occasionally a thematic burger that's nonetheless tastes like their every other burger.
We cannot be friends. And I'm not a fan of In-N-Out burger.
To assist your poor reading comprehension, i highlighted the key parts:
Also, did i mention i want aing warlord?
Like the sign hanging in my auto mechanic's office says:
Quality and quantity are different; often, the latter comes at the expense of the former, as effort becomes dissipated across too many options. You may have missed the point of the McDonalds versus In-N-Out analogy: McDonalds has a huge menu with a thousand terrible options. They really are no good at any of them. In-N-Out has three items, that are not that different, and they are masters at their limited menu, and they always have lines out the door: very hard to get a seat at that place, since so many people are getting the hamburgers. WotC has focused their efforts on fewer products, to make them special and worth getting: previously, they put out a ton of stuff I never bought, and they faced serious difficulties having to reboot every few years.
I love pop music, I love mainstream fiction & comics I love big cheesy blockbusters, I love a good old All-American cheeseburger. Sometimes what you want is clean fun, nothing wrong with that. But honestly, the huge net, as many options approach has more to do with dreck like McDs, not the focused quality items approach WotC is going for.
I see you've gone and used an extreme example to try and justify your argument. Must have picked that up from Wizards since they don't understand what a happy medium is and only goes from one extreme to the next.
PS: You do not know that it's possible to have quantity and quality without going overboard. Just thought I would share a bit of fact with you.
Until you stop avoiding direct questions asked of you, I don't see why anyone should take you seriously. And given you are someone who has publicly professed they are trying to "win" here, I don't see how victory can be claimed without first addressing any and all conflicting issues and doubts. Until then, at best, you'll have to endure a dreaded asterisk next to your "win".I see you've gone and used an extreme example to try and justify your argument. Must have picked that up from Wizards since they don't understand what a happy medium is and only goes from one extreme to the next.
Telling someone what they do, or do not, know is extremely rude. I recommend you reconsider your words. Also, your "fact" is impossible to quantify, therefor opinion. Which means, once again, you are what's called anecdotal evidence. Just thought I'd share that with you.PS: You do not know that it's possible to have quantity and quality without going overboard.
