With the new updates to ranger, will you be implementing this or have you already implemented the changes?

I was able to use the Custom page and define a new Fighter Subclass based on the UA Knight information. You should be able to fumble through it like I did - I routinely checked the Character Sheets to make sure the information was showing up.

Give it a try! :-D

i tried it, but since it doesnt remove the old ranger data it makes it cumbersome :(

New subclasses of existing official classes can usually be added with the option page, but the new ranger is not a new subclass. It is a new class... Ranger 2, if you will. I can understand why the existing official ranger is considered sub-par, but it is still the official version and thus is the version that is supported.

More homebrew

Hey ForgedAnvil.

first i want to thank you for a wonderful generator. i can not even imagine how much time and effort has gone into this. for myself and all my players i want to thank you for what you do.

i also have a question or perhaps a request. you have a custom page where you can make subclass for classes and other races.. i was wondering if it would be to difficult to have you make perhaps a side project or something that allows players to use the same char sheet with home brew and custom classes. i know there are many variables so i would understand if its not possible. but I figure it never hurts to ask.

or if there is already one maybe i could be pointed in the right direction. all of my players really enjoy the in depth char sheets that your generator offers. a few players have been using the basic char sheets because they play classes that are not in the 5e players hand book.

again. thank you for the char sheets. and continue to do what you do.

Thanks
Terry

For the time being, I would take a look at MPMB's D&D 5e Character Tools. It's the one I would use if I need to do anything from UA. It is more clunky that FA's.

Ensure you use Paste As > Values or Paste As > Formulas as there is conditional formatting on many cells and many cells have defined named ranges (which might be referenced in formulas else where). Copying from an old file and pasting over the current cell is probably causing these issues (and will cause major issues when importing the character in future versions.

I was able to trace the error to copy/pasting the images I added on CSIV from one version to another.

That is odd, if its just the image and you copy and paste from one workbook to another it shouldn't cause any issues (maybe there is a hyperlink on the image??). not sure why this is occurring.

Suggestion
Is there room to on each printed sheet, a char name and char level or something to help does of us who drop 6 different characters and get them jumbled up to ease sorting them. Seems like header and footer are out since a lot of room is taken up. Title bar on most sheets looks to have room.
Edit.
I did this on my sheets, this is csiv which as the least room, I changed it to =concatenate(upper(TranslationRaceBackgroundClassFeats),"-",CharacterName,"-",CharacterLevel)
Also reduced font for that section 2 steps. Did similar to other pages except cs1 and summary

Don't know why the space shows in feats, but it is not there
