In a way, but I'd love to have a good PDF of the books, well a legal one.

Reading the thread on their forums really drives home how cheap gamers are. Though apparently most of them have some dire personal circumstance that just won't allow them to pay for this. I'm not immune to being cheap myself but dang. Not sure I'm going to play 5e, run it I should say, past the current campaign but if I do I'll buy into this most likely.

One has a monthly cost that's all-inclusive for content, updated for free, that can be used by a group, and included magazine subscriptions with some pretty incredible content.
One has a monthly cost for a group, plus a steep startup cost, plus costs for any additional content that's released afterwards.

I agree that the 'group' level is the sweet spot for price, relatively speaking, but I'm still not seeing your math, here. :)

Sharing your DDI Subscription? If you're going to break the rules, why not just get pirated PDFs of the 5e books and save yourself all the money?
