Only in 4e in the Default setting. He has nothing to do with the Abyss in other settings and Editions. He is just a scary imprisoned god of Entropy and Madness.

After midnight post just to nuke Tharzidun! Tharzidun was more like a bad minion - the errand boy of the obyriths that went and messed everything up. You know, I actually liked the Dawn Pantheon and thought it was one of the best D&D pantheons. Of course, that's because they basically took all the high traction gods and threw them into one basket.
