colored horizontal rule ([hr])?

The [ hr ] tag creates a horizontal rule, but it is black (on almost black background), which means it is hardly visible at all.

It doesn't seem to be possible to give it a color, or am I missing something?

Maybe you could give it another default color than black (the standard font color for posts maybe)?

Maybe not use a dark background...?

The forum default is white or bright.

We don't have a black background available. How are you seeing that?

There are browser plugins that will produce dark themes for you.

Ah. Well we can't support third party plug-ins. That way lies an infinite sea of madness! Or something. My metaphor-fu is weak today. (More importantly it's a work multiplier, and the list is long as it is!)
