Custodio Vecchi
Custodio is the player's liaison from The Five and the leader of the Bluffside Regulars, Lord Commander Reginald Oakfirst. He's worked beside Big Tim for some time before the rest of your PCs meet him. He knew the previous PCs and grew close to them, but he's become used to people coming and going during this mission, which became personal for him when a fellow guard, Anja, was abused by members of the Rising Swords while they were working with Phelix's Loyalists. (Anja is now forced to live in The Asylum in New City.)

Custodio is a cleric of the Purifier, and he's a special agent of the Avengers of the Vanquisher, a subset of the Church of the Purifier. Vanquishers cannot fight from a hidden position and prefer to fight alongside the big bruisers of a group despite the risk. He won't rush in without a plan or put his allies in danger, however. He's learned that's a bad idea.

Custodio was originally Lawful Good, but after the disaster in New City, his alignment has shifted to Neutral Good.

@Tellerian Hawke, I found something that was given to your PC. It is in his room in Oakfirst Manor where he left it, which is where I'm going to place the new group of PCs. (We're going to forgo Terger's family home, although he did lend you a key.)

The shield is a special Masterwork Darkwood Tower Shield sized for a Medium character. It is both masterwork as a shield and as a weapon.

"Commander Oakfirst thought you might want to use this tower shield," Carter says. "While it's not reinforced with metal is is made out of special type of wood known as darkwood. He told me that an old friend of his named Rizvan once used it the Solakian Wars in the East twenty years ago."

Items that were loaned to the previous group by the Lord Commander. On a roll of 1 or 4 on a 1d4, they returned the items (on purpose or inadvertently).

Abas-Saba (rolled a 4): +1 Bronze Dagger of Potion Storing
— This was loaned to a PC named Relgar. He absentmindedly left it in his room at the manor so it is up for grabs for anyone who finds it there.
— Abas-Saba is still in Relgar's room where he left it last.

Cabalfoe (rolled a 1): +1 Sorcererbane Longbow
— This was loaned to a PC named Terger. He returned it to the manor before he left; it sits in the manor's vault awaiting someone worthy of it.

Hazael's Tooth (roll: n/a): Masterwork Adamantine Kama
— This was offered to MacConnell's PC Thersean, but I don't think he took it (no roll required). It sits in vault as well.
