Is There a Dedicated FATE Forum on the Internet Anymore?

Google+, which once hosted a dedicated FATE forum, has shut down its Google Groups.
YahooGroups, which also hosted a dedicated FATE forum, is shutting down ITS groups.
Evil Hat's website doesn't seem to have a forum.

So...is there anywhere on the internet that has a dedicated FATE forum? Is EN World FATE's last platform for discussion?

I don't know of any dedicated forums - I'm guessing it just doesn't produce much traffic, in and of itself.

Thanks. I'm sad because the game designers used to participate in the Google+ and YahooGroups discussions. While I value the opinions of the learned members of these forums, it was nice to have the designers' final word on things.

You know, in 2013, I created my own FATE phpBB forum at ForumMotion. It didn't get much traffic because it those days it was eclipsed by the FATE Google+ and YahooGroups communities. Bu-u-u-u-ut, since those communities are now defunct, if there are any refugees from those groups that are looking for a dedicated forum for discussing FATE, I invite you all to resume the discussions there. And particularly, Rob Donoghue, Fred Hicks, if you are reading this, please join the community (or, if anyone knows how to contact them, please pass that invite along to them).

I was having trouble logging in as administrator at the old site, so I've transported all the threads to an updated site at ForumMotion. Here is is:

Come one, come all.

Almost every system out has a dedicated subforum on RPGGeek, and many designers do participate, or at least monitor, the forums there, especially those who decided the EU law changes require them to no longer host their own forums.

Some are active with fans, some are not.

I'm a Fate fan as well. I really enjoyed hearing some of their insights into the game and process of developing it. I never really take much on Fate as the "final word" though, even from its designers. That game's central mechanics are pretty robust when it comes to either screwing them up or just screwing with them. Just about the only thing I see that consistently seems to end badly (or at least not end up working very well) is trying to turn it into some other game. (as so many have done with D&D and Fate)

just my $.02

I am a member of the Fate MeWe group...and its more active in the chat than the actual forum. I think the reddit group seems more similar to the old Google+ group, at least as far as the nature of the posts. However, the designers seemed to be moving on, even before Google+ shut down. For that, you're probably better served by reading their blogs, etc.

Yes, that is true, Ratskinner. I guess I inartfully worded that. Perhaps rather than "final word," I should have referred to "designer's intent."
