The One Ring Resources

Back in the day, when there was a forum on the cubicle7 website, I had a handful of really cool resources for their fantastic game, The One Ring.

It’s been a few years since I played, but I’m collecting the most important books I don’t have now that they’re discontinuing publication.

Now, the fan-made character generator is still up and working as well as ever, Here.

But there was also a printable index for the original two-book core rules, one or two fan-made supplements on expanding magic in The One Ring and expanding the gear available, and probably stuff I can’t recall.

Anyone here happen to have any of those resources?

Also, how different is the newer single-book core rules? And does anyone know if cubicle7 ‘s sale on TOR stuff will extend beyond today?

The rules errata makes few rules changes.
The biggest thing is that each rule subsystem is now in a singular block, not split in twain.

A complete changelist for it is available free via DTRPG
Sweet. Even at half price, I don’t really want to purchase the core book if I don’t need it. Especially if I can’t find the old printout index that makes the two-book core easier to use.

One more thing I stumbled on --- if you Google search for "Cubicle 7 Forum archive", there's a thread out there somewhere on RPG Geek where they physically archived the entire TOR forum block so can download it and browse the content locally from your own hard drive.

That’s pretty dope! I can relive my dumb arguments with the people there about 4e dnd! Because dear lord the edition war had no end. The front line was everywhere....

But also cool lore discussions lol
