D&D 5E Are Barbarian’s “Meh”

Lowkey, I am talking about my table. The sleep deprived mother played the frenzy Barb.

The comic played the sohei themed Zealot Barb.

So I am not being Politically correct to be morally superior, ( I'm not), but simply writing about my life. Someone else's table being different than mine makes that table neither better not worse.

If tales from my life seems like a " nuclear option " to you...so be it.

I'm sure you can deal with that.

I agree Apriori, people thru reason alone often cannot envision the world from another perspective. I would hope A posteriori, thru experience and the honest testimony of others people, that people can.

Dude, the whole thread is about discussing one's experiences to guage is there a "meh" factor to the class.

Except the sleep deprived Barb became a single stat based Hexlock/Pally and finds it easier to play.

Subjective experience holds surprises.

Which is why your post strikes me a straw man argument. An assertion was made the Barbarian was ' simple to play'. I disagreed that the class was that simple, gave examples of Fighter abilities that were 'simpler'.

It seems you are arguing an non existent assertion.

In regards to the rest, I have multiple players on the Autism spectrum, this is everyday life for me.
I used an example from my life, in a thread I started....but I should start a new thread, because you know Autism?

I call Non- Sequitur!

Umm no, I will not be starting a new thread.

If the barbarian is too complex, all the classes are too complex and you should play a different game...

...and btw there is nothing wrong with that! B/x, the GLOG, Troika! are all fun and valid games.

I really don’t try to screw over the barbarian. But I warn them I do alot of psychic damage. Illithid’s are a favorite critter of mine and I been using my own homebrew psion archetype for a wizard and sorcerer class for quite a while.

Shadow Demons can also counter Barbarians pretty well, dealing psychic damage with their attacks and if they have advantage, they deal even more damage.
