D&D 5E Yearly Releases Speculation Time

OB1

Jedi Master
Gonna make the same guess I've made for the last three years. One of these days I hope to be right!

Guide to the Multiverse - 1/2 Player Options / Half "setting guide" to the inner and outer planes and rules for spelljamming
2 Book AP - Plane skipping 1-20 level adventure that takes the PCs across several classic Material settings, the feywild, elemental planes, Sigil and the outer planes. Builds off the Guide to the Multiverse.

Kate's book (which doesn't interest me at all)

How can an adventure anthology that hasn't been published or had any real information teased about it already not interest you?

Since Wildemount is a bonus print, I'm hoping we still get this year:
  • Welch adventure anthology (hopefully exploring more areas of FR)
  • Perkins big adventure (hopefully the Lantan/Spelljammer potentiality...)
  • Rules/Class/Feat supplement/update (Lord of Blade's Guide to Khorvaire or something even) :)

Not speaking for gyor, but I can be disinterested in a product based on past works of the creator. I know I'm not interested in it based on Acquisitions Inc. buffoonery. Now I might see something that makes me interested down the road, but in general, no I'm not anticipating this book.

Well, that's disappointing.
In the hands of Wizards it could be a nice, fresh update and expansion of the material - instead of a $50 reprint that adds no new playability.
From the product page:
"A full fifth edition conversion of the original adventure is included, as well as brand new additional adventure locations and a dungeon level to expand and develop the spaceship and the surrounding environs. This is the perfect framework for a fully playable extended dungeon delve, suitable for taking your fifth edition campaign in out-of-this-world directions, with a distinct old-school vibe. "

There's no indication that Kate only does Acq Inc style things. It's a huge leap to think that would be true.

@dave2008 , for a $50 reprint, that should be some massive amounts of new content. From what I gather about their previous reprints, they have been designer commentary (not interested), the original adventure reprinted (mildly interested - but not worth the price), the original adventure updated to 5e (pretty interested). They just seem over-bloated ways to stretch out 32 page adventures to $50 hardcovers.

They are most definitely collector items. But you mentioned pay $55 for an adventure early (or in another thread), so that doesn't seem like a stretch. To be honest I didn't consider the price when looking at the information. I'm bad that way in general.

Once I see something else from her or get some teasers of the adventure, then I can get excited. But I'm not jumping up and down because of celebrity name recognition. (I also wouldn't be pumped about a Vin Diesel-written adventure.)

True. I am considering other adventures around the same cost, but I expect there to be some meaty content for a price that's higher than a typical WotC hardcover level 1-13 campaign.
