That is why the Diamond publishing information is relevant as it is the Distributor for Paizo. This is directly compating PF2 to PF1. We obviously don't not the magnitude of difference, bit PF2e is clearly selling more than PF1e.

I'm getting at - How is PF2E doing compared to PF1 in years past- release year or at it's peak year of corebook sales. Not a comparison between PF1 and PF2 for 2019.

Diamond doesn't distribute WotC (Stranger Things is Hasbro).

As @Parmandur noted and was discussed in another thread here and here in the PF forum today, Diamond doesn't distribute WotC products. WotC products are distributed primarily by Penguin Random House, not Diamond. Nonetheless, it is valuable information.

Ah, good. That explains it.

The complete lack of the D&D PHB made me wonder whether Diamond just didn't distribute it. But then I couldn't figure out why there were still some products labelled "WotC" on the list...

At this point I don't think the comparisons between PF2 and 5E should be a thing- Anyone can tell WOTC is killing it with 5E and PF2 is not really comparable.

The real issue* is- is PF2 doing well enough amongst it's competition, its established fan-base, drawing in new players, and how this all relates to the PF1 peak.

Yeah, no question. Amazon is a behemoth, and the fact that any RPG book has cracked the top 100 at Amazon is amazing. To say nothing of consistently staying in the top 100 several years after release. Although I don't have the figures to back this up, it seems pretty clear that D&D sales are an order of magnitude larger than those of any other RPG (and probably an order of magnitude larger than those of every other RPG combined).

I crit!
Diamonds release of these numbers is new as far as I can tell. And welcome!

Also note that the PF1 paperback core is 17thousand sales rank. Which I think gives Paizo the 2nd and 3rd highest rpg on Amazon.
