I watched it twice. The first time I was kinda “meh“. The second time I caught a lot more of the subtler jokes and am looking forward to the next episode.

I loved, “Listen to the words I’m saying, not the tone of my voice.”

I too took notice of that line. It was the best joke of the episode, and delilvered in a very Laurie way. Reminded me of Wooster.

Loved that line. I also like how he kept reiterating that it was more the paramedics that saved the day.

I just wished a show like this was not behind a Pay-Wall/Subscription.

To pay for a subscription for just one show, to me makes no cent$ to my bank account.

I'm sure you, like everyone else, has a backlog of HBO shows you haven't watched yet.

I'm just saying that if one show made you pay for a subscription, you might as well make the most of it and watch something else you haven't.

My list of HBO shows I want to pay to see is vanishingly small. I can easily wait until my cable company does a free HBO promo, the shows are syndicated, or do without.

The only other show behind a paywall I would have liked to see is The Tick.

And a few others I'm sure I forgot to name? I mean, I suppose it's possible, but if you haven't seen even a couple of those shows you could probably put your HBO sub to good use at least for the next month or two.
