D&D 5E Best on screen adaptations of the D&D cleric

Lots of good options. I haven't seen all of the movies/shows they refer to, but can see any and all of the ones I know to be able to be represented well by the cleric class.

Good call on Melisandre for a rather evil Fire-domain Cleric.

He doesn't adventure, but where would the High Sparrow fit in? He certainly comes across as a stay-at-home high-level temple Cleric.

Changed my vote. I can't believe I didn't think of Melisandre myself, because I actually made a not-so-thinly-veiled expy of Melisandre as an Aasimar Light domain cleric. "The Lord Of Light smiles on you" here, "The night is dark and full of terrors" there.

Yup, I would say Melisandre is the only truly D&Dish cleric.

And, when her player gets bored, he has her walk off and just die.

The best depictions on TV are the Priors of the Ori from Stargate, how do you not have have the Ori Priors on this list, they literally blow the rest out of the water?

Given that Melisandre shows that spell-casting clerics exist in the setting, the High Sparrow would be one of those non-cleric politicians the players handbook alludes to.

We wouldn't have Camber of Culdi anyway, unless there's a TV/movie adaptation of the Deryni series I'm unaware of.
