A new wounds system which replaces the default WOIN HEALTH system, giving combatants scratches and injuries throughout the fight.

I definitely like this article - easily to digest and implement at two pages. Looking forward to the Advance Wounds follow-up ... some day ... ;)

Anyone implement this one in their OLD game yet?

Thinking about this article a bit, two things come to mind for when I might run / use it:

1) Definitely going to use the Optional Rule for rolling a 10 on a straight Attribute check to shake off temporary conditions.

2) Thinking the Exploit Glory (was looking at Krute's pregen sheet) will get triggered any time the possessor (Krute) has an unshaken-off condition from an injury / wound.

I really look forward to use those rules, becaus I like health systems like this one;
but I´ve got some questions.
"scratches" are temporary conditions and "wounds" are persistent conditions - is this right?
If yes, do I count removed conditions as well?
How does healing applies with those rules?
Are conditions from other sources also scratches?
It will be a real mess to differ between two different contitions that are named the same and add up with another... minstrels would be the new angels of death along with alchemists and enchanters...

how do I handle characters with high SOAK and low END?
How do I apply LUCK when playing high fantasy?

Why do you need to distinguish? A condition is a condition.

until now, yes, but within this supplement, this is changed and conditions are wounds and equal to the last steps before death...
Do I count removed conditions as scratches as well?

Conditions aren't wounds. Wounds cause conditions. The difference may be subtle, but it's important in your logical chain, as it answers your questions. :)

Ok, so I count scratches and wounds in addition to those conditions - that answers some of my questions :)
So, how do I use healing rules with this system?
