The year 2014?and where is the thunder damage coming from?
Seems clear to me: the poster just pointed out that a fighter (but only a fighter, since it's italicized for emphasis) can get 6 attacks by doing an action surge at level 11. But it seems that WotC thinks 6 attacks are not enough, so they've announced that they're working on 7. Speaking for myself, a 7th attack at level 11 would make the fighter much more exciting to play, so I hope there's an official announcement soon!It looks kind of like a weird spam account? What’s with the entirely unrelated “WotC announced they’re working on 7” tangent?
I took it as being a random reference to WotC’s announcement that they were working on 7 new video games.Seems clear to me: the poster just pointed out that a fighter (but only a fighter, since it's italicized for emphasis) can get 6 attacks by doing an action surge at level 11. I'm sure it was. Sorry, that's my style of humor being too deadpan for the internet, which happens to me sometimes. Should have put a winky face or something on my previous post.I took it as being a random reference to WotC’s announcement that they were working on 7 new video games.
It’s not your fault. I have been cursed to always roll natural 1s on my Wisdom (Insight) checks to detect humor on the internet. (I also have disadvantage on the same checks in real life.)I'm sure it was. Sorry, that's my style of humor being too deadpan for the internet, which happens to me sometimes. Can you explain how you got to that number? If you're thinking of two-weapon fighting, you only get a single attack with your bonus action; Action Surge doesn't double that. If you're thinking of Horde Breaker, that's conditional on two adjacent targets to get the free extra attack.Ranger5/Fighter2 gets 6 attacks four levels earlier.
I'm thinking of Horde Breaker. Two adjacent enemies is extremely common, especially when the party plays around the tactic. Can you explain how you got to that number?
