I picked Amonkhet for the flavour, but for that reason I could go for Kamigawa as well and I hear good things about Eldraine!

yeah Eldraine was my second choice because of its strong Fairytale vibe, built in adventures and the use of Food as artifact.

I voted Amonket for the flavour, but Zendikar makes the most sense. In the fall you will have a new Zendikar set, so not only do you have a tie in opportunity, its the third time they have been to Zendikar giving them plenty of material to work with.

But this book IMHO won't come out until 2021.

I like the possibilities in Eldraine and Ikoria, although they are very new, they are very well thought-out and fun, but because they are so new, there isn't as much content to explore, I mean they have only one set apiece, and a few decks each. Compare that to all the sets Dominaria, Ravnica, Innistrad, Theros, Amonket, Alara, ect... Have, each has at least several blocks, novels and odds and ends built up over years with more coming.

I voted "none" since I don't really know MtG settings, and don't have a vested interest in the lore or learning it.

However, I do like those Planeshift docs quite a bit. So... I wouldn't mind seeing a single book providing an quick introduction of the greater MtG multiverse, its lore, workings, notable people, whatever. Then most of the book would be several chapters detailing different MtG settings-- ideally ones that are thematically distinct from existing D&D settings. Basically like a compendium of (new) Planeshift articles.
With lots of Art.
Because MtG art is amazing.

I do not play MtG, but I have seen some of the interesting art and having played other games like Shadowfist. Could someone post the briefest of elevator pitches for the MtG setting which he thinks I should vote for? With maybe what you think is the coolest image for it?

I like M:tG a lot, but it's a hard none from me. Theros is not only a weird choice, but totally unnecessary (there are a number of Kickstarter 5E Ancient Greece settings, hell Odyssey of the Dragonlords is like, out now, at least to backers. And Ken Hite was coming out with Hellenistika, which I guess he won't bother with now, and which seems like it was a lot cleverer and more daring than Theros seems to be - and I know Odyssey has much better subclass design than Theros does, based on the mentioned subclasses), and taking up resources that could be used for either updating an actual D&D setting, or doing something genuinely new (I really don't mind which). If this sort of muddled thinking is what they're doing with M:tG settings, well, the best thing that could possibly happen is that they stop. And at least reassess what the heck they're doing.
