I loved the skeleton swimming art. During a 2e campaign my players had lock down all the entrances to a village. Then I flipped to this art. The SSS was created Skeleton Submarine squad rose out the lake to attack them the next session.Sigh, someone had to post that darn Giant Spider picture. So terrifying. If I were an adventurer and saw that, that'd be my last dungeon crawl.
For me, undead and skeletons are a formative part of my D&D experience. Undead remain amongst my favorite monsters:
