I realize that this may look like a parody thread. It is not. I'm completely serious. I'm still on the fence about whether or not sterotyping in D&D is akin to real-world stereotyping, I've heard good points from both sides. But if it is, I think we should remove it completely from the game, and perhaps more importantly, we should be coherent about the way we deal with it.
It is ok to refer to "monsters", as long as we understand that any human can become monstrous when becoming hateful.

Politically Correct Entries for the 6e MONSTER Manual:
Adolf Hitler
Joseph Stalin
Mao Zedong
Saddam Hussein
Attila the Hun
Kim Il-Sung
Ted Bundy
Osama Bin Ladin
Vlad the Impaler
Ivan the Terrible
Gangis Khan
Jean Kambanda
Maximilien Robespierre
Benito Mussolini
Bashar Al-Assad
Judas Iscariot
King Henry VIII
Fidel Castro

Those are some true monsters. Orcs pale in comparison next to the Unabomber.

Genghis Khan is a hero who unified the Mongol people and brought peace to the world, to refer to him as a monster really is racist and offensive
