This year so far we have Candlekeep Mysteries & Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft. What's next?
Seeing as in there were three Monstrous Compendiums for Ravenloft, if we're getting the campaign setting I'd prefer a proper companion monster manual to go along with it. Even if I never run a Ravenloft campaign ever again, it just seems to me the only way to do the setting justice. 2018 was the last WotC MM so might be about time for another.Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft

well that was a blast from the past.I love to say fool theories but my bet is a new setting based in Aerois, the setting created by High Rollers.

HighRollers: Aerois
Not to be confused with the world of the same name that the campaign is set in. Aerois is the title for High Rollers D&D's second Dungeons & Dragons campaign. The campaign began on July 1, 2018. The setting for the new campaign was revealed by Mark in the final episode of the Lightfall campaign...yogscast.fandom.com
Why? Because it is the mixture of Spelljammer and Planescape.
Dragonlance and Dark Sun will come back. Kara-Tur may be rebooted (you can blame the Sundering event if you want).
