WotC New D&D survey from WotC

My brother is deep into MtG, the only MtG I have is a couple of older starter decks, a box of Battlebond (so I could play with my eldest) and a booster box of Kaldheim (liked the Norse theme). I hardly play the card game at all, and usually only against my brother or my eldest son, the latter who is much more deeply entrenched in the card game than I am.

However, I have picked up the D&D campaign books for Ravnica and Theros, and wouldn't mind seeing more MtG campaign worlds as D&D books. Specifically Amonkhet & Kaldheim. Possibly Strixhaven.

Kaldheim really felt more D&D than Magic in some ways, didn't it?

Kaldheim is the only Magic: the Gathering setting that I actually want transported officially to 5e. I'm fine with a few other coming to 5e (Ixalan, Amonkhet, Zendikar, etc), but if it were up to me, Kaldheim would be the M:tG setting to get an official book in 5e.

Eldraine would be pretty neat, too, as would Tarkir. I honestly don't think they can go wrong with the crossovers. But Kaldheim felt like it was already a D&D Setting.

Agreed. I had to narrow it down to Warforged, Gnomes (yes, I said gnomes. don't judge), and Changelings for the races, and Artificers, Paladins, and Warlocks for the classes. I wanted to have more on both lists, but had to make do with their restriction.
Bard, Paladin, Warlock
Human, Tiefling, Elf (odd that last one but that's where I landed.)

:D

is it a bad sign that I only like the oddball classes like monk and my eternal desire for a properly working mystic?
the fact I still can't find a race I really like just bugs me none of them fit well with me.

I'm guessing my answers suggesting that Magic the Gathering should go back to what it was like in the late 90s when I last played it with any regularity were mostly useless to them. :ROFLMAO:
Yep, that was me. Its been....forever....since I played Magic. Like, there was only one set when I played regularly. I had the bloody starter box, too. I guess I can thank hurricanes for ruining those for me.

On the other hand, I've been DMing basically every week since 2006.

Heh. We older players are not their targets here. My survey progress was at 39%, and then they asked my age and it jumped to 96% done.
Did you rate things as extremely likely, 10, etc?
I did.
I got to 99% & then it asked my age and turned to 100%.

For 1/2 the responses of why I feel this way I just put "See previous answers".
