Whoops, hold on, context is important: "Campaign" here pretty clearly refers to charitable drives by WotC, not product at all.
That is a great point, actually. It almost seems like part of the sentence is missing.

"This is the first year we're rolling out community-specific, and we look forward to your feedback on what you’d like to see in upcoming campaigns"

Community specific... what? Community-Targeted Campaigns? The D&D Community? The LGBTQIA Community? Seattle, specifically, since that's a community?

Community Specific Licensed Materials?

I could definitely see the campaigns they're referring to be PR Campaigns, Charity Campaigns, or other sorts, not just adventures or settings.

Read the whole link, it's pretty clear.

and making Elminister possibly the most Gender Fluid character in D&D.

1. Okay, I admit my ignorance of this topic so I'll bite. What?

2. Regardless, no. Corellon Larethian dates back all the way to D&D's roots, and Correllon's the genderqueer icon of D&D now and forever. Correllon is almost ... almost ... enough to make me re-think my correct hatred of all things Elf. It's kind of like Bette Midler and drag; sure, Bette might not be all that, but without Bette, we'd be missing out.

I was referring to mortals not Gods.

Elminister has taken on female form many times both willingly and unwillingly. He appears comfortable in either, using the expected pronouns of whatever form he's in.

Please, to stop the homophobia we should avoid those stupid jokes about elves suffering a serious demographic crisis because they aren't enough straight couples breeding a new generation of children.
