That's not how Multiclassing works in 5E mate.

Your caster levels stack and your channel divinities dont.

You have the slots of a 12th level cleric (9 from Cleric and 1/2 of 6 from Paladin) and 2 x channel divinities per short rest (and you've used both).

Thanks. -- I didn't re-read the section. I usually don't multiclass. Will fix.

Can you confirm the slots you have used (including the 2 x 3rds you recovered).

It doesnt seem to add up.
4th - Cast Death Ward on the Sorcerer,
then 2x Smites (Gith Leader).

3rd - Cast Spirit Shroud, then 2x Smites (Gith Leader, Gish).

2nd - Cast Prayer of Healing.

Then regained two 3rd Level slots with HDP after the short rest.

Alvin almost finishes his sentence, a single tear building in the corner of his eye, before he breaks.

"No," he says firmly, "Lathander would never want this. This can't be what he means. Dawn is a process, something that grows slowly at first until it seems it is already past. The Morningbringer would never want such a commitment."

He turns to his companions. "Forgive me -- I lost myself there. But I am back again."

Back to the Devil: "First, tell me your name, so that I may promise true."

My name Mortal, is Hutjiin, Duke of Cania, the 8th of Nine .

He waits, and listens. The name probably should mean something to him, but it does not. He says the name, solemnly, and continues, "I accept your first offer, but not the second. If it is within my power, when I leave this plane, it shall be with you, and thereby you shall have your freedom."
But is is such a small price to pay Mortal. Such a small price for such a large reward...

But so be it. A gift such as my service is not to be taken - or given - lightly.

A puff of smoke appears in the Archdevils hand and is replaced with a rolled up parchment. He hands the parchment to one of the nearby Zombies, who shambles over to you and offers the rolled up parchment to you.

In the contract presented are the terms of our deal. My freedom for a magical item to aid you in your quest. I urge you to sign it quickly; I sense a cosmic disruption is imminent.

Alvin reaches out to receive the parchment. He has never been so close to the undead without reaching for his blade, but he does not.

He takes the parchment in his hand, and begins to read. "Dawnbringer help me," he says under his breath. Never has he felt in greater need.

Bartholomew will scan the contract after Alvin looking to make sure there are no surprises. Assuming there are none, he will sign.

You unfurl the parchment and find a very legalese wall of text with your name down the bottom next to a space for you to sign.

The thrust of the contract appears to be a magical item in exchange for guanteeeing his freedom from the Plane. 24 hours to perform.

As you read the text, make me an Intelligemce (Investigation) check.
