D&D 5E The October D&D Book is Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons

As revealed by Nerd Immersion by deciphering computer code from D&D Beyond!

Fizban the Fabulous is, of course, the accident-prone, befuddled alter-ego of Dragonlance’s god of good dragons, Paladine, the platinum dragon (Dragonlance’s version of Bahamut).

Which makes my guess earlier this year spot on!

UPDATE -- the book now has a description!

So they've definitely shifted the art direction for dragonborn quite a bit. The 4E and original 5E design could be kind of same-y, but in Tasha's and this preview they look more like humanoid versions of specific dragon varieties. Guess this means more opportunities for dragonborn minis since they can be so diverse in appearance now.

Also, Sapphire Dragons apparently live in the Underdark, cooperate with deep gnomes, and are interested in warfare? Considering what's going on in my campaign at the moment, I think I've just added a sapphire dragon to it.

There aren't usually new sub-classes in these books, right?
But a Dragon Pact Warlock or something would be cool.
(I'm a few days behind on this conversation, so if it's said elsewhere, I apologize,.)

I was hoping for Dragon-Pact Warlock in Strixhaven, but by putting out Fizban's before that one, there's a chance we'd see the pact even earlier, and Stix can draw from that. I don't know what I'd want to see in a dragon pact, but I find the flavor conceptually cool.

"Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons arrives October 19 and will be chock-full of our favorite scaled monsters and their minions. The book will provide a deep dive into the First World, a place that existed before the multiverse and that is the birthplace of dragons. It will also formally bring gem dragons to fifth-edition Dungeons & Dragons!"
It's "Turtle Prime!" I mean..."Dragon Prime!"

Not digging the art released for this book so far. As much as I love dragons, this book may be a pass for me, as I still have a lot of the fluff in the 3E Draconomicon.

So Dragon Turtles got upgraded to full dragon status with age categories (at least they mentioned that the dragon turtle picture shows a Great Wyrm Dragon Turtle)

That was already visible on the MTG cards where all dragonborn resembled specific dragons (and had tails).
I wonder whats up with the floating horns of the gem dragonborn. Artistic freedom or defining feature?
