D&D 5E (2014) Dungeons and Dragons WotC survey August 9th, 2021

I got 1/3 of the way through survey, then was prompted to enter my age, then got bounced. Good thing it didn't ask about my weight.

I got about 40-50 questions covering both Magic and D&D - I didn't get an age question until after all of those.

Same, except I made the mistake of saying I had played MtG (twice - 6 years ago) and had to answer all the magic questions to get to the D&D questions.

Also, it seems like a took the same survey about a month or two ago. Did anyone else get that feeling?

I think we had a very similar survey...but it was put out by the Magic team, IIRC. So, similar design, similar goals, bit broadcast to different (overlapping) audiences.

Correct. Probably a filter in the write in portion Id assume.

The survey was mostly about comparing Magic & D&D fandoms and seeing how they overlap: if you are not par of the overlap, no need to ask questions about it.

But you know if they had asked about weight?
Just imagine all the speculation about WotC's plans for a D&D-themed VR fitness app or whatever.

I was at, like, 78% when they asked me my age (31) and then skipped to the end.

You got to 78%? I only made it to 46......

That’s because about 45% of the survey was about MTG.

I enjoyed saying I prefer playing MAGIC with physical cards so that everyone has access to the same cards, which is how we always played among friends. I still have enough pre-2000 cards for like 10 people to have fun making decent decks and then we all get to play!

Huh. I didn't get asked my age until it was 74% done (at which point, when I said 44, it jumped to 96% done).

For me it was 73% and 98%, but yeah; same thing.
