Codex of the Mind provides players and GMs with a comprehensive psionics system for their campaigns. Written for the Arcanis: The World of the Shattered Empires setting, the content can be easily ported over to any other 5E game setting.

But don't take our word for it. We are offering a free preview for your consideration that presents the complete Psion class, as well as a sample sub-class: the Kineticist.

The Kickstarter can be found here: Codex of the Mind - A Complete Psionics System for 5E

You can download the preview by using his link:

This book look intriguing, but I'm not looking for a new campaign setting right now. Is there any chance that the setting-neutral version (Tome of the Mind) will be available separately? Ideally, I'd like to see it as a offset print book, rather than a POD. Also, I'd be curious how much play testing goes into the non-Arcanis material (e.g., Bard, Monk, Wizard options). Finally, what else is added to the book (and removed) vs the Codex version. Good luck with the project.

Thank you for your questions. With people's generous support, I hope we'll hit the Tome of the Mind Stretch Goal and provide backers with a PDF and physical copy. I would prefer to have Tome of the Mind traditionally printed, but that would incur greater costs and further backing. I plan to make that a Stretch Goal, should we reach sufficient support. If not, then the POD offered (at-cost) will be their premium printing option.

Codex of the Mind will be traditionally printed, and if you'd seen our books, they are very high quality. Should you decide to back the project, the Arcanis source material can be easily parsed out without too much trouble. If you're interested in what the system offers, you can download the free Preview PDF with the provided link (if you haven't done so already).

Playtesting of the non-Arcanis material has been going on (and is ongoing) for a while now in anticipation of the Tome of the Mind stretch goal. As for what additional material will be added, that you'll have to wait until the Stretch Goal is unlocked. :)

For those wondering what the Tome of the Mind book we're talking about is, here's the cover. Enjoy.

Finally... after all the halfhearted approaches of Wizards, a full blown 5E psionic book. I could not be more happy to hear this. Your version of the psion looks interesting too. :)
