I doubt they'll release two planar campaign settings but they might fold them into one and say release Planescape and include everything from it based on Sigil, Factions etc and include the Phlogiston, Spelljammer ships, the Rock of Bral, some races like the Giff, Dracons etc... That would make for a stellar release!

The theory I have is that Planescape will get a full setting book, while Spelljammer gets a cameo in an adventure.

Someone, somewhere whispered the phrase, “50th Anniversary.”

And jewelled eyes flickered banefully in the sockets of a crumbling skull in the Tomb of Horrors.
And a puzzled look formed on the brutish face of Chief Nosnra in his damp Steading.
And a single drop of blood fell onto the staked corpse of the vampire, Drelnza, causing the faintest of stirs.
And something metallic shifted in a strange, alien construction in the Barrier Peaks.
And the rubble in an abandoned gatehouse shifted as a draconian form moved once again.
And a skeletal hand pushed up from beneath the grass of Emridy Meadows.
And a smile creased the lips of a drow priestess, deep in Erelhei Cinlu.
And the Old One glanced up from his throne of bones.
And the name, Keraptis, echoed softly in the white plumes of a smoking mountain.
And in the purple swirling of the void, Tharizdun heard the whisper......

I kind of love this.

I'll give you this, that is one Hell of a pitch, I can picture that as a trailer in my head.

If it had been 1, 2, or even 3 races I could see the spelljammer adventure book being an adventure, but 6 races is a alot for an adventure book, it screams an Eberrron Rising From the Last War or Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica level of investment in character options, especially if it has more character options. I guess we might learn the truth tomorrow. I know that it has Boo on the cover, but Minsc isn't exclusive to the Forgotten Realms anymore, he's visited Ravenloft and Hell, and who knows what.

To be fair, @Urriak Uruk said that prior to the UA tipping their hand.

Remember, they've been saying that they are going to be trying different formats in upcoming products. That's not to say that this will be the case here, but speculating on future products based on previous ones is a bit less certain these days...

I'm pretty certain that it won't be in the format of Eberron, because the team said they were planning on releasing new setting in new formats. Right now I'm expecting some hybrid of adventure and setting content, a lot like how Strixhaven is. Much more mechanical stuff for things like ships though. Still expecting a big chunk to be an adventure though.

That has me worried. Unless the book is the size of Eberron or bigger it won’t have room for all the lore and crunch you’d need to do Spelljammer justice and have a fleshed out adventure. It would take two or three books to do that.
