Help, give some recomendations of Dark Fantasy TTRPG

Hi, I'm very interested in souls series, berserk etc... So I was wanting to play some darkfantasy TTrpg, I need some systems/scenarios to explore.

Zweihänder seems like a pretty obvious choice.

Torchbearer inspired Darkest Dungeon.

Zweihander seconded, if you want grim, dark, deadly combat, and low magic.

Cthulhu Dark Ages? It's based on a well-developed system and converting "modern" scenarios won't be too difficult

Warhammer FRPG, which is basically the grandfather game Zweihander is based on.

Shadows of the Demon Lord, seems a scent choice as well, though I had not played much of it personally.

Shadow of the Demon Lord is another obvious choice, and I'm kind of ashamed that I forgot about it. SotDL is basically the love child of Warhammer Fantasy and D&D 5e, with flairs of the Diablo game franchise.

I don't see the system and setting meshing. Midnight is about battling against incredible odds, a LotR where Sauron got the One Ring.

But 5e is about building super-powered PCs. Not a good fit.

How about we wait and see the final result before judging? Cubicle 7 stripped down many of the "superpowers" from their Adventures in Middle-Earth 5E classes, perhaps Edge will do the same for Midnight 5e.

Time will tell.

EDIT: At the very least, the OP can borrow the elements of Midnight that they like. The lore is grim enough.

Anybody have any experience to share on Shadow of the Demon Lord? I've always thought it looks cool, but I haven't been able to find a "quick start" kit or anything to give me a sense of the rules, and I don't like to shell out for RPGs without knowing something about a game.
