Actually the main ones that bothered me was the introduction answer because it suggested folks only like it because they don't know better
I don't understand this objection. I very frequently see and hear people voicing the opinion that the main reason so many players prefer the FR setting is because it was the setting they first played in, or the only setting they've played in. Almost every time the relatively popularity of FR gets brought up on any forum I've seen (other than forums entirely devoted to FR), someone (usually several someones) chimes in to express this opinion. That and kitchen sink-ness are by far the two most common reasons I see floated for FR's popularity, and yes, the (often explicitly stated) follow-up is usually that people just don't know any better.

But if you're designing a corporate opinion poll question designed to figure out what the setting's fans like about the setting, you'd be a fool not to include that as an option.

And from the survey-taker's perspective, if that opinion infuriates you, presumably because you firmly believe it is not actually as prevalent a motive for liking FR as forum thread after forum thread would imply, then I would think you would be happy the option is there, precisely because it wouldn't be chosen all that much, since only people who say they actually like FR best will even get to answer that question, and then WotC will know that this is not actually a major reason people like FR—only a major reason why people who don't like FR think that other people shouldn't.

I guess that's part off the point of the survey - to see just how critical psionics is.
I specified so.
Sure. But they’re not likely to get one from WotC.
depends on the poll as they seem bored of ideas right now so making a new class might be something they might try more likely we will get a shaman type class first but I can wait.

I suspect they are actually only interested in information about some of the settings, the others on have questions to balance out the survey. They already know what they are going to do with FR for example, so the answers pertaining to that can be thrown away, but things like "how jokey should Spelljammer 5e be?" and "how veiled should slavery references be in Dark Sun?" are currently undecided.

who important psionics is for dark sun was one I believe.
still, I doubt we will get and thing from it.

Forgotten Realms HATERS put those explanations up for the Forgotten Realms popularity, not to fans and its FR fans who are going to pick FR as their favourite setting, so your throwing in the biases of those who dislike the Realms. Now the Kitchen Sink crap is mitigated by the fact that they found a more accurate and fairer way of putting that, flexible, so that is okay.

You make a good point about discrediting the argument from the haters as to why FR is popular.

They don't need to design a survey for some kind of box filling balance. Heck, they don't even ask everyone the same questions or present them in the same order. This constantly confuses people here. And yet, the surveys keep doing it. Because they want different information from different people.

You know being a kitchen sink isn't a flaw right? Eberron is a kitchen sink and I still love it...
