It's so massive that I've just been scrolling through the PDFs, impressed by the magnitude of the project. So I'm not able to give a full first impression yet.

It will take 18 months of playing to get a true impression. The fine details of each entry and how they evoke the imagination is impressive. So many aspects bring opportunity of action and roleplaying opportunities. From a GM perspective every level a player makes you can just write down the aspects they choose and make an adventure. If players are excited enough to select it I will make it part of the adventure to reward them. Thank you Level UP, you just made all my adventures and players happy.

I went into reading the Adventurer's Guide with a little of O5E predisposition! After 75 pages I took a breath and it is out the window! I have made it through Heritage and Culture! It is all different, all of it. Hill Dwarf culture has community magic! Burrowing haflings with claws, Stoic Orc's! You cannot take the name of something and relate it back to O5E. It is going to be so fun as the cultures bring the pillars of play into the game.

So far this is a complete work of art and know I won't be sleeping much for a while.

Thank you Morruss and the team.
That "Stoic Orc" culture is probably my favorite in the whole game. The orcs in general are awesome. I want to live near one of their communities IRL.

The Stoic Orcs remind me of Vulcans: they're so emotional they had to purge themselves of emotion and embrace logic. Which is so amazingly different than the way orcs have always been shown that I love it. (Also, then non-Stoic Orcs are now Romulans.)

I hadn't made that connection until you mentioned it, but it's surprisingly apt!

Well, that was fun

I hadn’t thought of that but now I can’t unsee it!
