Homebrew Level Up Roll20 Character Sheet is live!

Another question, when rolling checks or saves from an NPC character sheet, it defaults to a roll everyone can see, is there a toggle to change this to GM rolls only?

No, I don't think there currently is... at least, not one that I could find.
I feel like this might be on the big list of feature requests, but if it isn't it probably should be!

I really hope so as I prefer to roll NPC's and monsters as GM rolls, at the moment I am using ability macros as a work around which allows me to whisper gm. It also allows me to tick the "show on token" for all the attacks, something I would love to see added for the list of "attacks and spellcasting"

Will there be a level up compendium available for roll20? I'm so used to being able to drag and drop spells into the 5e character sheet.
Hi @paulvenner, do you know if there will be a compendium at some point? That would greatly aid in my ability to create new maps and adventures in roll20 with creatures and items from A5E. It's not fully relevant to the character sheet discussion I realize, so please feel free to point me to another thread.

I'm not working on this so I can't give a definitive answer, but I can give some background on why this hasn't been done yet. (As well, hopefully, as some helpful info for the sheet dev!)

Roll20 doesn't allow adding a system compendium unless there is an associated marketplace item. You can of course list marketplace items, and players can buy them, but the minimum fee is $4.99, so you can't get one for free.

As the Holdenshire adventure is available there, it's possible there's some level of compendium added for it too.

Edit to avoid double-posting:
@paulvenner - do you use the GitHub Issues page to track bugs and feature requests? I was wondering how you personally manage everyone's feedback, as well as hoping to find a way to contribute to the project.

I just picked up MoH on roll20, and it does not have a compendium. Furthermore, I gotta say, it's not the most impressive. I know that isn't specific to the character sheet, but no dynamic lighting, tokens aren't setup with AC/Hit Points/etc., the kind of basic things I expect when I by an adventure on the platform.

Hi

I'm a bit of a github newb, currently using an evernote to keep track of all the issues/feedback and going through them in order .. I'm keeping an up to date changelog for any changes i do to the sheet...

Things I have just gotten working include -

Added a check box to each spell list allowing spell notes to be added to each spell (i was really struggling with this cos i just couldn't get it to work - i had over complicated it and spent far too long on it and this is what has delayed other updates)
Added Notes Tab to Character sheet
Split the Archtypes so only the selected class's archtypes will appear in the list - currently working on this

Next -
Adding a notes section of each equipment
The ability to more customise skill rolls and make it a little easier to enter the info you want.
Adding notes to maneuvers
Looking into getting a compendium - need to do some investigation on how, what you can do etc...
Make rolls specific for gm/player or all

Spicy! And no worries, not everyone is an old hat, after all.

I've tried this, for the Pokemon Tabletop Adventures system - Roll20's official stance is that you need a marketplace product to have a Compendium entry, which is why the Memories of Holdenshire adventure can have one. If there's nothing listed, then there's nothing to go with.

Beyond that, I can't help, as I of course didn't want to charge people $4.99 for access to an unlicensed system. 😬

I'm keeping an up to date changelog for any changes i do to the sheet...
Good to hear! I know you've been sprinkling it into this thread, but any chance you can bundle this into the README.md for the project folder?

I have a fully listed changelog.md with every change to the sheet...but perhaps i should change that to a readme.md with a change log

i'll be pushing these changes live later today(sunday)/early tomorrow(monday) as this seems to hit roll20's Monday release pass.

Thank you! The notes are a very welcome addition!

So my eyes aren't what they used to be, and I'm wondering if the font size for those text boxes* could be increased by a step if other users are good with that change?
* (including the ones that were already there, like under Features & Traits)

I'd add that to the next release
