I'm looking forward to delving (ha!) Into Level Up.

I hope what the book does is scale the journey and exploration rules to the dungeon, with regions replaced by areas and traps and hazards taking the place of exploration encounters.

"Why Dungeons?"
I liked GURPS' explanation for this. Basically all confined, dangerous spaces you have to go in to retrieve something is a dungeon. Even if you are already in there and it is you that you need to retrieve right out of the place. Secret tech lab with guards and intrusion counter measures? Dungeon. Crime boss mansion? Dungeon. Mining ship with a hostile alien in it? Dungeon.

"We can do intrigue and dungeons without the exploration and we can do exploration and dungeons without the intrigue, , and we can do all three concurrent or consecutive, but we can't do intrigue and exploration without the dungeon. Dungeons are compulsory- they're all dungeon, you see."

Looks like Ratlings and Grimlocks are going to be two new heritages for everyone to try out. I wonder how many other heritages this book is going to debut.

I'm looking forward to this. I'd really like to see some a5e adventures, and how they are different than o5e.....because right now, other than exploration (and now traps), I don't know what's different.
