D&D Movie/TV Here's The D&D Movie Trailer!

"Who needs heroes when you have thieves?" The movie arrives March 3rd, 2023. Here's the trailer! When they said it was inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy, they weren't kidding! We have dragons, owlbears, mimics, gelatinous cubes, quips, and more!



There was also a clip shown at San Diego Comic Con where the party cast speak with dead, and got to ask five questions. Also, apparently, the D&D cartoon characters from the 80s have a cameo!

Found it odd that the acid apparently loses all effect once it lands in the ground and people and animals walk over it.

Well, there was also the quick bit of her literally picking up and throwing people in full armor. She isn't fighting with skill, she is fighting with brute fury. Which is pretty "barbarian" to me.

I’m saying what makes her a Barbarian aside from class skills and high str score? She doesn’t seem “barbaric”.

I admit I haven’t seen the film but from the trailer they all seem to be more modern snarky people playing a class.

Which yeah most games tend to “play themselves” then RP as an elf Druid or whatever.

Well, the film doesn't come out till next year, so....

And yea, "modern snarky people" playing a class does capture the real D&D experience. That's certainly how my games run.

I'm pretty much at the same point I was when I saw the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer with Rocket firing at full auto. "Oh Hell Yeah, I'm checking that movie out!"

Or that the other players are just idiots who dont know the best class in the game when they see it? "Oh YeAh We NeEd A rOgUe FoR tHe DoOrS, anyway, here's Knock."

I'm kidding, I'm kidding, Sorcerer is best class. They do what wizards do but look cooler by default.
