D&D 5E Dominaria United Article mentions D&D (MtG & D&D) Wizard's Presents

It's near the end when it takes about Wizard's Presents, which is big, big announcement thing August 18th, the same day Dominaria United finishes it's story.

They even have art for the event with Drizzt, Boo, and a Beholder on one side and Jaya Ballard, Elish Norn, and Ajani on the other.

I think they could finally be merging the multiverses, fingers crossed. I think it could be tied to time travel shangegians like the original mending.

I'm also expecting an Honor Among Thieves set.

I expect we'll see Dragonlance, and maybe any other book that may come latter this year, if anything is coming.

I'm expecting some 5.5e news, like upcoming UAs. Maybe if they decide to emulate MtG side stuff and at least announce the books they are certain about like the First World Setting Book & Planescape. Heck given Dominaria United kicks off the big MtG 30th celebration they could announced a Dominaria United D&D book.

We'll see: D&D'Souza shorter production schedule makes that difficult compared to the years long process for Magic.

Maybe, but I suspect because of the 50th anniversary coming up and 5.5e, a lot of stuff started earlier then usual and got locked in unlike usual way they do it. Especially a Dominaria D&D set. I'm not even a Dominaria fan really, it just makes sense. I mean we actually have a pretty good basic idea of what is coming already for D&D. 2 new settings (including First World) and classic setting (Planescape) in 2023 and 1 setting revisit (most likely FR) and 5.5e book in 2024. When was the last time we knew this much years ahead for D&D, upcoming Spelljammer, Dragonlance, First World, Planescape, some adventures undoubtedly, some weird Deck of Many Things book, 5.5e, and FR revisited.

We don't "know" about a "First World" book, that's conjecture.
