D&D Movie/TV Here's The D&D Movie Trailer!

"Who needs heroes when you have thieves?" The movie arrives March 3rd, 2023. Here's the trailer! When they said it was inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy, they weren't kidding! We have dragons, owlbears, mimics, gelatinous cubes, quips, and more!



There was also a clip shown at San Diego Comic Con where the party cast speak with dead, and got to ask five questions. Also, apparently, the D&D cartoon characters from the 80s have a cameo!

I feel like producers very often underestimate their audience. All you need to do is show a dude dissolving after the dragon vomits on him. We'll get it.

I agree, but my decades of customer service experience also makes me lean towards producers not underestimating their audience enough.

If only there was some way for film makers to use visual cues and storytelling to inform the audience of facts about the elements within the film. oh well, I guess we will just have to listen to a 5 minute exposition on the different types of dragons.

Wait! Maybe they could show the big black one with spittle dropping from its mouth and sizzling on the ground before the big battle, and the big red one with smoke streaming up from its nostrils in the establishing shot. Nah. Too subtle. Soliloquy it is!

That's actually a lot of views for 17 hours and for a movie that's not part of an existing franchise. Definitely a good start.

Can't believe I missed just calling it Circle of Critters (for the Crit Roll fandom connection).

Also, how crazy would it be if the cameo by the Crit Roll cast was actually as their Vox Machina characters, who somehow got lost in Wildspace on an adventure and ended up in Faerun? They randomly run into the DadHat team asking how to get back to Exandria.
