Well, I mean, if we're talking about Harry Potter, we're talking hundreds of millions of copies. I doubt the PHB has hit that level (although maybe it has) because the HP books are typically all balled together in total sales, but, we're probably still talking tens of millions of sales of the PHB.I would love to see actual units sold on these books. If anything, just to sate my own curiosity.
Well, these are live numbers, not historical, so Harry Potter is probably selling less now than it did 20 years ago...but popular children's books tend to be pretty Evergreen, as more kids come on the scene.Well, I mean, if we're talking about Harry Potter, we're talking hundreds of millions of copies. So I gave this one a shot and I got some interesting numbers! There are sites where you can place the book sales rank and get an estimate of the monthly and/or daily sales. Like this one: Amazon Book Sales Calculator - TCK Publishing.
I don't know which is the best site that does this, and I don't have any data about accuracy, but at least you have an idea of how much product is actually being sold, which is why I like the Amazon book rank better than a list like the ICv2.
No, thst sounds about right. That one has to be too high?
