Explain more of what you're thinking here. I'm intrigued...
The PC is a Shepherd Druid, but what's most important for the character is the spirit totem. The player wrote up a whole bit thing where the spirits are actually very important for the tribe, and the PC's spirit is actually a very major spirit who is willing to smack the PC around if they get out of line (The player really enjoys hamming this up). When the PC summons an animal, the player actually says that the spirit transforms into that animal, rather than summoning a different animal.

So... something like that.

I like this "shaman" take on the druid.

We just made a Necromancer yesterday and I noticed that the "(rounded down)" part of the Create Minion description should be removed because otherwise you wouldn't get a CR 1 Minion at level 3.
"Your minion may be any non-elite undead creature with a Challenge Rating lower than half your wizard level (round down). For example, at 3rd level, you can create a CR 1 minion[...]"
Half of level 3 is 1.5, rounded down it is 1 so at 3rd level you could have a Minion with a CR "lower than 1" (so not 1)
If you ignore the rounding and just go for the "lower than" the table fits.

Slight necro (pun intended). Does it cost an (bonus) action to command the Created Minion? If not: Is this not way more powerful than a beastmaster's companion? It feels like at (e.g.) lvl 10, a Revenant or Wraith would wipe the floor with Mr. Snuffles and his 40 temp HP. Wraith being even more painful as Drain Life would probably oneshot it due to max HP reduction, but that aside ;)
