Apologies if this has already been posted, but Kobold Press has been doing one of these as well. It's included several free adventures so far:

Thus far I think every other day has been a free product, with coupons on the alternate days.

What do you expect as a freebie going out to thousands of people?

Other companies do better.
One of my old games does advent month you get free loot boxes, half price in game content and they generally make the game a lit more fun to play.

Extra credits, resources etc rewards for actually playing. Elite crew that level twice as fast etc.

Might actually boot it up haven't played for a couple of years.

For a free account (I no longer pay for premium) it's a fairly decent package.

Yea I think this was executed better.

I do think coupons are OK and some of the DNDBeyond ones are even compelling. But altogether it's rather disapointing.

I know, it's free, and it's marketing.

There are a TON of really good pieces and parts of adventures they could have given out. A limited time to acquire them would have been OK too. H*ck could have been dice too. I don't buy those generally (the charity ones I have) but they are kinda cool and would have been cool here.

They could have lined up articles and had a couple few unlock via this, like the adventure they put together for Vecna, could have been an article/adventure for the Monstrous Compendium II.

I won't be too surprised if they have a set of holiday digital dice at the end of the calendar.
