Here's the Monday Blues #47 map. This map continues from last week's Monday Blues map. Click to enlarge.

Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 36x46 10 ft. Squares or 72x92 5 ft. squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1229x1578
  • The white dash lines represent submerged tunnels.
  • Areas 3 b), 4, 17 a), 18, 19, and 20 a) represent water.
  • Areas 3 a), 13, 16, 20 b), and 24 have pillars/columns. Area 32 a) has pillars of water (see below).
  • Areas 27, 30, and 32 b) have statues.
  • Area 32 a) is a temple with smooth polished marble floors and a ceiling of moving water hanging precariously in the air. The swaying waters above cast an interesting effect of shifting shadows on the polished marble floor.
  • The true ceiling is 70 ft. above and open to the water that surrounds it. An invisible barrier ranges from 20 ft. high (at the sides) to 30 ft. at the centre. This magical barrier keeps the water above at bay, creating an air pocket at floor level.
  • The magic that keeps the ceiling up, also created water columns/pillars that appear to 'hold' the ceiling up. Should this barrier get turned off, the water from above would come crashing down, flooding the room in minutes.

Here's how last week's and this week's map fit together. Click to enlarge.

That's the plan, Eyes of Nine. The next Monday Blues map falls on Boxing Day (26th) so it may be a day or two late (I'll be away for the holidays). My next Friday Freebie is on the 23rd so it will be a few days early (since I will be away).

Cheers,
Tim

I'm sorry to announce that there won't be a Monday Blues map on the 26th. I'm currently away visiting family and this area got hit with a huge blizzard so my return train trip got cancelled. I'm currently working on alternate means to get home (and back to my work station).

Cheers,
Tim

@Turgenev

Hope all are safe - weather is crazy across the globe it seems

Something to consider - there's a bit of a movement for #dungeon23, where people create a dungeon room every day to end up with a 365 entry mega-dungeon by the end of 2023

One approach is to create 12 levels of 28-31 rooms - one each month

Not sure if you are interested in participating in any way

Here's the ENWorld thread
