Okay, including all content for the $30/month is frankly more than I was expecting. Granted, I’d like to see the content improve.

Who ever thought this is going to work need to be walked out of their office and thrown into the street immediately. There is no way in hell, I would be ok with this. Basically a wholesale unworkable rearrangement of my current subscription. This will cause even greater backlash then the OGL mess. This is the leak by GeekNative in Aug 2022.
Apparently, there are only two tiers − all or nothing − $0 or $30-per-month.
The no-cost plan only allows "3 encounters" on the VTT. Yikes!
Also, no homebrew content for no-cost.
That was confirmed to be fake.I'm... awfully skeptical, but it's interesting that the pricing in the rumor lines up with the supposed 'leaked D&DBeyond slide' from awhile back: link.
Yea someone admitted to manufacturing that. That was confirmed to be fake.
I'll edit my post; didn't mean to spread misinformation. That was confirmed to be fake.
That's one way of looking at it. However, people value different things in different ways. Folks buying those hockey tickets are paying around $100/month for way fewer hours than that, but seem to think it's worth it.RIght now, I probably play ESO about 70-90 hours per month.
"This" has to provide me double the amount of entertainment to justify it.
Yeah need to know what's on offer first. You don't know that. For example, my DnDBeyond Master Tier subscription is insanely good value. At $7/month I can share access to all the materials with all my players, and I run four campaigns right now, plus sponsor two more through D&D Club, so that is almost 30 players getting access to a ton of material for my $7/month. So I pay $7/month and they all have free accounts. How do you know $30/month isn't the same thing but for the VTT?
Context is everything. I can't assess any number without seeing exactly what the offer is.
I suspect you misunderstand.Okay, including all content for the $30/month is frankly more than I was expecting. Granted, I’d like to see the content improve.
